It all started with a chigger bite…and the desire to start a little community fun!

Chiggerfest was born in 2007 by the Ambroson family. Originally a small gathering of community in a driveway, a live band, and some margaritas, it has grown into the community’s event over the years.

Now celebrated annually on Labor Day, Chiggerfest is the community’s annual end of summer event.

Each year, Chiggerfest features a theme that inspires the t-shirts, golf cart poker run stops and costumes! In 2025, the theme is all things Disney!
